MTI Wireless Edge Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has received an initial order worth approximately US$0.7 million for its cutting-edge 5G backhaul antenna solution.
This technology will be deployed by one of India’s leading cellular service providers as part of the country’s ongoing 5G roll-out.
The Indian Government and the top three cellular providers are driving the 5G expansion, making high-speed backhaul solutions crucial for efficient data transfer between mobile towers and the core network.
Commenting on this exciting milestone, MTI Wireless Edge Corporate ’s CEO, Moni Borovitz, said: “Last year we expanded our presence in India to meet growing demand for our 5G backhaul antenna solution. This contract validates that decision and, provided the first stage is completed on time, it could grow into our first major 5G project in India.
