MTI Wireless Edge is pleased to report solid Q1 2026

MTI Wireless Edge is pleased to report solid Q1 2026 financial results, with growth in revenue, operating profit, and net profit year over year.
Revenue increased 6% to $12.8 million, operating profit rose 21% to $1.5 million, and net profit for shareholders grew 18% to $1.2 million. Earnings per share increased 18% to 1.40 US cents.
All three divisions contributed positively to the quarter. Mottech, our Water Control & Management division, delivered revenue growth of 19%, driven by strong demand from international markets including North America, Italy, and the Arabian Gulf. The Distribution & Professional Consulting Services division grew revenues by 20%, with a healthy backlog building for the remainder of 2026.
Heading into Q2, MTI secured a record level of defence-related orders in April 2026, totaling just over $9 million, the majority of which is expected to be fulfilled in the current year, further strengthening an already robust order pipeline.
MTI closes the quarter with net cash of $8.5 million and a strong balance sheet, well-positioned for the year ahead.
